PRESENTER: Yana Makuwa

More and more in contemporary writing, fragmentation, hybridity, and experimentation are opening up the modes that writers have available to them to tell their stories. When deployed thoughtfully, structural experimentation can elevate and add complexity to a book or essay, but it can also have the opposite effect, creating something obscure, and confused. In this session, we'll discuss what works, that doesn't, and how to know when the experiment is helping or hurting the story.

Yana is also participating in the Agent-Editor Panel Luncheon and the Consults
