Denise VegaDenise Vega is the award-winning author of seven books from toddler to teen, including two picture books: Build a Burrito: A Counting Book in English and Spanish, illustrated by Caldecott Medal winner David Diaz and her “blog” duet, the first of which is the award-winning Click Here (to find out how i survived seventh grade). Her newest picture book, If Your Monster Won't Go To Bed, was published in March by Knopf/Penguin/Random House. Denise is on faculty at Lighthouse Writers Workshop and is a Young Adult Faculty Mentor for the Regis University MFA in Creative Writing.
