Writers come in all shapes, sizes, and ages. Oftentimes, our stories don't cultivate until we retire, or even much later, and these stories should be shared. The publishing industry has evolved in so many ways, just in the last few years, that it's difficult to keep up with submission requirements. Much of it is computer-based and frankly, you'd rather spend time enjoying your grandkids than trying to navigate the Internet. Or perhaps just getting your story down on paper (or electronically, as it may be) is a task in of itself and you need someone to type it for you.

That's where the Silver Pen Partnership comes in.

If you're a senior citizen (60+) NCW wants to help you achieve your goal of publishing your story, whether it's fiction, nonfiction, or merely a family history. Your stories are important and should be preserved, regardless of your knowledge of the publishing world. There are a number of publishing options available today and NCW has members wanting to guide you through the process. Either as a volunteer or for a minimal fee, we have members who can assist in:

Story development
Editing
Dictation
Formatting
Publishing options
E-book formatting and uploading
Cover design
General writing/publishing advice
